True Friend Poem

A true friend is God's treasured gift
that money cannot buy.

A loved one who will be always there
to lend me an ear when I need to be heard.

Pat my back to let me know
it's going to be all right
or that I did great.

Hold my hand when I'm about to fall.

Share with me life's triumphs and failures.

One with whom I can dare to be myself,
with whom I can show my all.

True friendship is love
that can surpass pain and sorrow,
no matter how deep...

My friend, I hold you close to my heart.

And for as long as my mind can think
and my heart can beat,
we will never be apart...

Best Friends Poem

As I sit here and think
About what we've been through,
I realize my life
was better off with you.
We were the best of friends
We were always together.
We said we'd be friends
Now and forever.
I miss those days
We used to talk and ride bikes,
I even missed those days
When we had all those fights.
Every friendship has their share
Of arguments and fights,
But I miss
All those long, long happy nights.
We used to sit there and talk
For hours on end,
Because you were
My very best friend.
Now here we are
Separated and free.
But of course I am wishing
That we could still be
Best friends for life
Like it was planned,
But now all I can do
Is offer my hand.
