bestfriend poems

My Daughter’s Best Friend

My daughter has a best friend
who'll never leave her side.
They've been close since she was small.
He's been there as her guide.

They like to eat together.
They play great at the park.
They watch cartoons on T.V.
They snuggle in the dark.

When you're in a rocking chair,
you can't rock her to sleep.
She must have her friend by her
so she'll not try to weep.

When they go to play outside,
they tend to get boo-boos.
I'll go and kiss them better
like every mom should do.

My daughter has a best friend.
Little Leo's his name.
Though he is a stuffed lion,
their friendship is all the same.

Not Only My Brother, But My Best Friend

You say, your not loved and don't deserve to receive letters. I don't want you to feel that way I want you to feel better. I'll try if you want to write you a million letters, if that’s what it takes to make you feel better.

Because, not only are you my Brother, your my Best Friend. So Brother when your feeling like nobody cares just read this poem, and know that I'll always be there.

Your special, your strong, loving and kind, know matter who's there you'll speak your mind.

You may be miles and miles away, but this is what you need to know, this is what I need to say. So brother when you’re feeling lonely, and blue, just lying in the dark, thinking that nobody cares for you.

Pull this paper out, and read this poem over, and over again, because you’re not only my brother, you’re my Best Friend.
