Project Management is not a notion but is a job, which almost every individual do in one way or the other without knowing that it is a project management. However this term is used more at corporate level hence it has become a part of corporate dictionary. Project Management can be defined as a task given to individuals who might act in a group with limited resources.

Project management can be of short term as well as long term. Like if the planning is done to carry particular project for a short term but later on its been realized that its benefiting a lot than that project can become a long term project. Also a long-term project can become a short-term project if its not benefiting enough. But if project is properly managed that definitely it will be beneficial to the organization as well as individual.

Every stream has some or the project to be done for the client as well as for their own organization hence there is lots of job opportunities in project management. Project management starts at a planning level but before that lots of research is need to be get done and after planning execution is to be done and results is need to be find out if the result deviated from the standards set than planning is to be done again for proper results or as execution might continue.

Engineers, Management students, Graduates, Architect etc.. can be part of projects there is not restriction for any particular qualification like some project demands only electronic engineers while some might need combination of three- four different streams but what is important is working together. If the project is need to be properly manage than it is necessary to have a proper team work who will work hand in hand.

Resources available for project management should not only be efficient but should also be effective as company will benefit out of it and results would be appropriate. Sometimes many projects are half left so as a project management person every individual who works on different projects should do research as to why few projects are left incomplete this will help them to know reasons as to what kind of hurdles can be there on the way. Project Management is a never ending work and its growing at a very high pace hence it has lots of scope also.
