While almost all adults can tolerate
the summer heat, it is the children who tend to suffer the most.
While they are at home because of
the vacations, yet they are far too restless and energetic to be
confined in the four walls. They need to be let out in the open
and enjoy themselves through various physical activities. Most
parents encourage their children to play in the mornings end
evenings when it is slightly cooler, but yet summer time is
summer time.
During this season, if children are not clothed appropriately
then they are prone to various skin infections. |
This is because of the cloth rubbing
against their body that is already moist because of the heat, coupled
with the dust in the air. For this reason preferably children should be
made to wear cotton clothes. Even the colors of the junior summer
dresses need to be of lighter shades. Yes, most parents get rather
irritated when the clothes get soiled because of the children playing in
the open. But one needs to remember that darker colors absorb heat and
lighter colors reflect it, because of which summer dresses for juniors
should be of light pastel shades.
When purchasing the juniors summer dresses one should also ensure that
the child is well protected from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the
sun. The clothes should cover the body entirely, so preferably no
sleeveless. This is contrary to popular belief, but look at the people
of the Middle East, they are clothed from top to bottom and the
incidence of skin related problem is not as high as it is expected to
be.
Most stores selling junior summer clothing are also well stocked up with
caps, hats and scarves for the young ones. There is a wide range of
these essential accessories and the headgear is very important as the
sun can hit the head rather badly causing sunstroke and heat stroke.
The younger kinds summer clothing is of such vast variety that many
mothers get completely confused. And with all the more international
brands stepping in, mothers are never satisfied with their child’s
wardrobes, and nor are the children themselves as they are completely
aware of the changing trends. But then, advisably for daily wear the
best is to get the cheapest of clothes, so that even if they are soiled
and spoilt one need not get all upset over them money spent.
Some schools have realized the need of having two sets of uniforms and
so have a heavy set for the winters and lighter and subtler school
summer dresses. This is the general trend in the western world, where
comfort is very important.
